InfoCamp attracts people from a variety of disciplines, such as information architecture, informatics, library & information science, taxonomy, interaction design, user experience, user-centered design, information design, online search, information management, informatics, technical communication, human-centered design and engineering, human-computer interaction, and more.
At InfoCamp, you'll meet professionals and practitioners from industry, academia, non-profits, government, libraries, and other sectors; people seeking work; hobbyists; and students.
Founded in Seattle in 2007, InfoCamp is now going worldwide.

InfoCamp started up in 2007 in Seattle and has been running strong ever since.
InfoCamp Berkeley:
InfoCamp Berkeley started in 2010 on the UC Berkeley Campus.
InfoCamp South Carolina:
The first East Coast InfoCamp was in Columbia, South Carolina in October 2011.

InfoCamp Portland launched February 2012, and planning is underway for the next installment!
